RoadSafe Traffic Systems will coordinate with Amtrak to implement traffic control measures and establish detour routes. The traffic management plan is designed to ensure safe and efficient travel around the work zone during the maintenance period.

Motorists traveling from West Railroad Avenue should use alternative routes including East Isabella Street, East Church Street, and Route 13/Salisbury Boulevard. Traffic approaching from East Railroad Avenue should divert to Anne Street, East Isabella Street, East Church Street, and Route 13/Salisbury Boulevard.

City officials recommend avoiding Elizabeth Street at these intersections whenever possible during the closure period.

All detour routes will feature clear signage to guide drivers around the construction area. Officials encourage residents and visitors to plan their travel routes in advance and allow additional time to reach their destinations. Drivers should follow all posted traffic control signs and remain alert while navigating the detour routes.

The maintenance work represents ongoing efforts to maintain the safety and reliability of the rail system. City officials expressed appreciation for public cooperation during the temporary closure and emphasized the importance of the infrastructure improvements for community safety.
