Caroline County, MD - On June 28th, 2024, at approximately 11:50 P.M., a vehicle fire occurred in the 12000 block of Kibler Road in Greensboro, Caroline County, Maryland. The incident involved a 2011 Kia Rio that has since suffered substantial damage, estimated to be around $4,000 for the vehicle and its contents.

The vehicle, which had been parked at the address for an extended period due to inoperability pending repairs, caught fire in its interior passenger compartment. Eight firefighters from the Greensboro Volunteer Fire Company swiftly brought the fire under control, responding to the call and quelling the flames within 20 minutes.

Family members of the vehicle's owner, who were presumably present, were the first to learn about the incident.

This incident is particularly concerning because it is the second incendiary fire to occur on the same property within just four days. The cause, being incendiary, suggests a deliberate act of arson.

If you were in the vicinity of the incident address during the fire or if you have possibly witnessed any suspicious activities related to this or the previous fire, we urge you to come forward and share your information.
