Fire Marshal Investigates Vacant Dwelling Fire in Henderson
HENDERSON, MD - On November 28, 2025, at approximately 12:07 P.M., the Greensboro Volunteer Fire Company responded to a fire at a vacant, two-story, single-family dwelling located in the 24000 block of Taylor Road in Henderson, Caroline County, Maryland.
The fire, which was discovered by a passerby, originated in the interior of the structure. It took 20 firefighters approximately 50 minutes to bring the incident under control. There were no smoke alarms or fire alarms present in the dwelling.
The estimated structural loss is valued at $10,000.00, with no loss to contents.
