Sharptown, MD - On Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at approximately 8:59 AM, firefighters from the Sharptown Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to the 400 block of Taylor Street in Sharptown, Wicomico County, Maryland, for a structure fire. 

The structure was a single-story masonry block garage.  It took 20 firefighters from Sharptown, and assisting agencies, approximately 30 minutes to get the fire under control. 

The owner of the property suffered a estimated financial loss of $10,000 to the structure and an additional $5,000 in contents.
