Firefighters in Caroline County battled an Overnight Barn Fire
Caroline County, MD - On Sunday, November 16, 2025, a structure fire occurred at approximately 11:21 p.m. in Caroline County, Maryland. The Federalsburg Volunteer Fire Company was the primary department to respond to the incident, which took place in the 25000 block of Three Bridges Road in Federalsburg, Maryland.
Twenty-five firefighters were dispatched to the scene after a neighbor discovered the fire. The structure, identified as a one-story barn/garage, required a two-alarm response. Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control in approximately one hour.
The total estimated loss is valued at $170,000, with $90,000 for the structure and $80,000 for its contents.
The area of origin and the preliminary cause of the fire are currently under investigation.
