Firefighters in Wicomico County Battle Sunday Afternoon Fire

Salisbury, MD - On November 16, 2025, the Salisbury Fire Department responded to a fire on the 400 block of Brookwood Drive.

The incident, reported by neighbors at approximately 3:34 p.m., involved a dilapidated slide-on truck camper situated in a wooded area behind a residence.

Fifteen firefighters were dispatched to the scene and brought the fire under control within 30 minutes.

The preliminary cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Deputy State Fire Marshals from the Lower Eastern Shore Office.
