Five Arrested for Attempted First-Degree Murder in Easton
Talbot County, MD - Detectives from the Easton Police Department have arrested five individuals in connection with a stabbing. The arrests occurred on March 12, 2026 and March 16, 2026. The U.S. Marshals Capital Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF) assisted with the apprehension.
The individuals arrested are Tymor T. Horne, 37, of Cambridge, MD; Charlie J. Blanchfield, 50, of Greensboro, MD; Ah'Niyah S. Fitchett, 22, of Cambridge, MD; Jasiyah C. Henry, 19, of Denton, MD; and Brandi S. Parker, 22, of Greensboro, MD.
They are charged with attempted first-degree and second-degree murder.
Additional charges include first-degree and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and conspiracy. All suspects were released to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.
The arrests stem from an incident on March 1, 2026. At approximately 12:23 a.m., officers from the Easton Police Department were dispatched to the American Legion at 102 Glenwood Avenue in Easton, Maryland.
The call was in reference to an active fight. Upon arrival, a large crowd was observed outside the building. Due to the uncooperative crowd, the exact nature of the incident was not immediately determined by responding officers.
A short time later, officers responded to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton. A subject had arrived at the facility with stab wounds. Through subsequent interviews, it was determined that the victim was assaulted by several individuals inside the American Legion.
The victim was then stabbed. Due to the severity of the injuries, the victim was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. The victim was released several days later.
During the investigation, surveillance video was obtained by detectives. The video evidence showed that Parker, Henry, Fitchett, Blanchfield, and Horne assaulted the victim. The video further indicated that Horne stabbed the victim three times.
