National News - Former FBI Head James Comey has found himself at the center of a social media controversy, following a post he made earlier today. A post he shared, featuring the numbers "86 47" arranged with seashells on the beach, sparked debates over its interpretation as a covert message against President Donald J. Trump's life.

The term "86" is often used as a reference of eliminating or removing someone, while "47" would refer to the 47th President of the United States, President Donald J. Trump.

Comey claims that his intentions were misinterpreted. He explained that during a leisurely walk on the beach, he noticed the intriguing arrangement of shells and believed it to be a political statement without any malice.

The public reaction was significant, leading Comey to remove the post after receiving criticism and calls for his arrest.

In a follow-up post, Comey expressed his opposition to violence and attempted to reassure the public that the post was not meant to incite harm or promote divisiveness.

The White House has said "This is deeply concerning to all of us and is being taken seriously". New FBI Director Kash Patel has stated that they are aware of the threat and has stated, "We are aware of the recent tweet by former FBI Director James Comey, directed at President Trump. We are in communication with the Secret Service and Director Curran. Primary Jurisdiction is with SS (Secret Service) on these matters and we, the FBI, will provide all necessary support."
