Funeral Arrangements Announced for Delaware State Police Corporal

STATE OF DE - The Delaware State Police has announced funeral arrangements for Corporal Grade One Matthew T. "Ty" Snook. Corporal Snook was killed in the line of duty on December 23, 2025. Services to honor his life and sacrifice are scheduled for Monday, January 5, 2026.

The services will be held at the University of Delaware Bob Carpenter Center, located at 631 S. College Avenue in Newark, Delaware.

A public visitation is planned from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Following the visitation, uniformed emergency services personnel in attendance will conduct a pass and review.

A memorial service will immediately follow these proceedings. At the conclusion of the indoor service, final honors are to be presented outside the Bob Carpenter Center. All ceremonial events are expected to conclude at approximately 3 p.m.

Interment will remain private and closed to both the public and the media. The services inside the facility will also be closed to the media, though a staging area will be established outside.
