Garage and Brush Fire Reported in Salisbury

Wicomico County, MD - On the afternoon of February 10, 2026, emergency personnel responded to a fire incident in Salisbury, Wicomico County. The blaze occurred in the 32000 block of Twilley's Bridge Road. It was reported at approximately 2:31 PM.

The Parsonsburg Volunteer Fire Company served as the primary responding department, along with several other departments from all around the shore. Fifty firefighters in total arrived on the scene to fight the fire.

The fire affected a 30-foot by 40-foot garage, a vehicle, and 1.5 acres of brush. A passerby first discovered the incident. The preliminary investigation indicates the cause was accidental.

A brush pile, which the owner had previously been burning, spread to the structure.

Damage to the structure is estimated at $15,000.00. The loss of contents is estimated at $1,000.00.
