Glen Burnie Man Arrested at Easton Quality Inn

Easton, MD - On January 16, 2026, officers from the Easton Police Department were dispatched to the Quality Inn located at 8523 Ocean Gateway in Easton, Maryland.

The dispatch was in response to a report of an unwanted subject at the location. Upon arrival, officers met with hotel management regarding a guest who had failed to check out.

The guest was identified as Landon D. Tews, a 37-year-old resident of Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Management advised officers that Tews would not vacate the property. When officers contacted Tews, he appeared to be heavily intoxicated. Management formally requested Tews to leave the premises in the presence of law enforcement, but he did not comply.

Officers issued multiple commands for Tews to leave the property, which he ignored. Tews was subsequently placed under arrest. He was transported to the Talbot County Detention Center for processing.
