Greensboro Man Charged with DUI Following Traffic Stop
Caroline County, MD - On January 30, 2026, a deputy from the Caroline County Sheriff's Office was on patrol in the Henderson area. The deputy observed a vehicle committing multiple traffic violations.
A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle, identified as a Toyota Tacoma.
The driver was identified as Elder Geovani Morales Vasquez, a 27-year-old resident of Greensboro, Maryland. Mr. Vasquez stated that he did not possess a driver's license.
A records check confirmed the absence of a valid license.
Further investigation revealed the odor of alcohol coming from Mr. Vasquez and open beer cans in the vehicle's rear passenger compartment.
Mr. Vasquez completed standard field sobriety testing. Based on the results, he was placed under arrest. He was processed and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol Per Se and additional traffic offenses.
Mr. Vasquez received citations and was released to the custody of a sober driver.
