Harlem Globetrotters to Bring 100 Year Anniversary Tour to Salisbury

SALISBURY, MD - The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters have announced that their 100 Year Tour will include a stop in Salisbury. The team is scheduled to play at the Wicomico Civic Center on Thursday, March 5, as part of its centennial celebration.
This tour commemorates a century of the Globetrotters' unique brand of basketball entertainment. The event will feature the team's signature athletic feats and basketball tricks. For the first time, the team will wear new 100 Year jerseys to honor their history as they compete against their long-standing rivals, the Washington Generals.
The Harlem Globetrotters organization, established in 1926, has played a significant role in basketball history. Team alumni include Nat "Sweetwater" Clifton, who was among the first African American players to sign an NBA contract, and Hall of Fame members Wilt Chamberlain and Connie Hawkins.
The organization is also recognized for integrating women into professional basketball and for its role as global ambassadors for the sport. The current team holds more than 60 Guinness World Records.
In addition to the game, a number of premium fan experiences will be available. These include a pre-game "Magic Pass" for player meet-and-greets, a "Celebrity Court Pass" allowing fans to join the team for warmups, and "VIP Bench Tickets" for seating with the players.
Collectible items, such as a limited-edition 100 Year Golden Replica Game Ball by Spalding and a souvenir ticket, will also be offered. Following the game, a "5th Quarter" autograph session will be available to all attendees at no additional cost.
Tickets will be available to the general public starting Monday, September 22, at 10 a.m. local time and can be purchased through the Harlem Globetrotters' official website. Group ticket packages for 10 or more people are also available, offering discounted pricing and preferred seating options.
