SALISBURY, Md. - Calling all craft beer lovers! The City of Salisbury is thrilled to announce its fourth Hops on the River beer-tasting event in Downtown Salisbury on Saturday, April 13.

Fans of craft beers are invited to hop over and experience an afternoon of delightful brews, live music, games, and food and craft vendors. The event promises to be even larger this year with exciting new features. 

"The response over the past three years has been incredible, and this year, we're excited to make Hops on the River even bigger," said Events Technical Specialist Chris Ford. "We're looking forward to hosting you for an afternoon of delicious beer tasting, music, and fun!"

Tickets are selling fast, but there's still time to secure yours. Opt for the VIP experience with a ticket for $55, which grants you early access to the event at 1 p.m., a full hour before general admission, and a stylish T-shirt as a keepsake. If you prefer general admission, tickets are available at $35 until Friday, April 5, at 11:59 p.m., rising to $45 afterward. 

For those who like to pair their beer with savory wings, 'King of Wings' tickets can be added for an additional $15, allowing you to sample 10 wings from participating restaurants. Act quickly, as these are limited!

The tasting event will run from 2 to 5 p.m. in the area between Unity Square and Riverwalk Games Park. Complimentary tasting glasses, sponsored by The Brick Room, will be provided to all ticketed attendees.

Brewery masters from Evolution Craft Brewing Co., RAR Brewing, Burnish Beer Co., Sinepuxent Brewing Company, and Big Truck Farm Brewery are set to make an appearance and pour some of their best brews, sharing insightful details about their distinctive creations. More breweries will be announced soon!

Attendees must be 21 or older, and no vertical IDs will be accepted. The event will take place weather permitting, with a rain date scheduled for Sunday, April 14. Tickets are non-refundable. Non-drinkers and designated drivers aged 21 and older can attend the event free of charge, allowing everyone to participate in the fun.
