Hunt Valley Man Arrested on Assault Warrant During Traffic Stop

Talbot County, MD - A Hunt Valley man was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop in Talbot County on October 19, 2025.

Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office conducted the traffic stop on Ocean Gateway near Norris Taylor Drive. The driver was identified as Anthony Lamont Williams, 54, of Hunt Valley, Maryland.

A records check revealed that Williams had an active arrest warrant issued by the District Court for Baltimore County. The warrant charged Williams with assault. Deputies arrested Williams at the scene.

He was then transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner. Williams remains in custody pending further action by the courts.
