ICE Agent Struck by Vehicle in Wicomico County Hit-and-Run
Wicomico County, MD - Deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office responded to a hit-and-run incident involving a federal agent on the morning of February 3, 2026.
At approximately 06:48 AM, authorities were dispatched to the intersection of Pemberton Drive and Diamondback Drive in Salisbury, Maryland, following reports that a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent had been struck by a passing vehicle.
The investigation revealed that the agent was assisting with traffic direction at the time to ensure the safety of the motoring public. All agents present on the scene were wearing clothing or equipment that clearly identified them as law enforcement officers.

A suspect has been identified in connection with the incident. However, their identity is currently being withheld as the investigation remains active.
Authorities state there is no known threat to the general public or other ICE agents related to this event.
