ICE ARRESTS SUBJECT IN GEORGETOWN DELAWARE FOLLOWING FUGITIVE APPREHENSION OPERATION

Georgetown, DE - On June 3rd, 2025, the Georgetown Police Department received an alert from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) concerning a fugitive apprehension operation within Georgetown, Delaware.


The notification was part of standard deconfliction procedures aimed at safeguarding both residents and law enforcement personnel.


The operation was led by ICE agents targeting an individual with an existing criminal arrest warrant. Georgetown Police played no role in the operation and were not requested to assist. The operation concluded with the individual being taken into custody without any incidents.
