Incident at Rams Head Shorehouse Leads to Arrest
Queen Anne's County, MD - On December 22, 2025 at approximately 1:00 AM, deputies were dispatched to Rams Head Shorehouse following reports of a disturbance. Staff at the establishment reported that a customer, later identified as Ashley Hildebrand, was behaving aggressively toward employees and other patrons.
According to the report, Hildebrand was shouting and using profanity. Staff members also stated that she kicked other customers in the leg while seated at the bar and threw a drink in the direction of a bartender. She reportedly refused to leave the premises when asked by staff.
Upon arrival, deputies located Hildebrand inside the bar and requested she step outside, which she did. Officers informed her that she was being trespassed and required to leave the property. However, due to her level of impairment, she was unable to drive herself.
Deputies noted that Hildebrand mentioned a ride offer from another patron. When officers approached this individual, he declined to transport her. Hildebrand then attempted to re-enter the establishment several times, blocking the exit for other customers.
Officers warned Hildebrand that she would be arrested if she did not secure a ride or make alternative travel arrangements. She reportedly refused to contact anyone for assistance.
Consequently, she was placed under arrest. During the arrest, Hildebrand threw herself on the ground, requiring deputies to carry her to the patrol vehicle.
While being processed at the Sheriff's Office, Hildebrand allegedly kicked Deputy Rivera twice. She was held without bail and faces multiple charges, including Assault Second Degree on Law Enforcement, Disturbing the Peace, Failure to Obey a Lawful Order, Disorderly Conduct, and Trespassing on Private Property.
