Investigation and Search Warrant Leads to Closure of Salisbury Spa

Wicomico County, MD - In February 2026, information was received by the Salisbury Police Department regarding potential human trafficking and prostitution. This suspected activity was associated with the Thai Spa, located at 2505 N. Salisbury Boulevard in Salisbury, Maryland.

On March 4, 2026, a search and seizure warrant was executed at the business. This operation was conducted by the Salisbury Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division.

The execution of the warrant was coordinated with the FBI and the City of Salisbury's Housing and Community Development Department (HCDD).

Following the execution of the warrant, the business was officially closed. The investigation into the matter remains ongoing.

Direct support for this investigation was provided by the Maryland Criminal Intelligence Network (MCIN). Grant funding and strategic support are supplied to MCIN member sites by the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy.

This inter-agency collaboration and data sharing are designed to identify, disrupt, and dismantle criminal organizations to make Maryland safer.
