JUVENILE ARRESTED FOLLOWING GAME STOP ARMED ROBBERY IN MILFORD, DELAWARE

Milford DE - On June 7, 2025, at approximately 6:04 p.m., the Milford Police Department was dispatched to Game Stop, located in the 900 block of N DuPont Blvd, Milford, Delaware, in reference to an armed robbery. Game Stop is a store that sells video games, electronics and gaming merchandise.
It was reported that a white male wearing a blue hoodie, and a black mask came into the store and displayed a handgun demanding money. Investigators learned that the suspect fled from the store without obtaining any money.
Milford Police Officers, including a K9 unit and the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit, searched for the suspect, but were unable to immediately locate him.
The investigation revealed that the suspect discarded the firearm behind the building, which investigators recovered and determined was a BB gun. The suspect then got into a red Ford Escape and fled from the area.
Through their investigation, the suspect was identified as a 16-year-old white male from Harrington, Delaware. Investigators went to his residence and took him into custody without incident.
The 16-year-old juvenile was charged with:
- Attempted Robbery 1st Degree (Felony)
- Aggravated Menacing (Felony)
- Wearing a Disguise during the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
- Tampering with Physical Evidence (Felony)
The juvenile had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court 7 and was issued a $74,000 unsecured bail. He was ordered to be GPS-monitored by Juvenile Probation. He was released to a guardian and will appear at a later date in the Kent County Family Court.
