Juveniles Charged for Burglary of Abandoned Federalsburg Residence

Caroline County, MD - On Sunday, September 21, 2025, Deputies from the Caroline County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of subjects possibly inside an abandoned residence in the 100 block of Reliance Ave, Federalsburg, Maryland.

Upon arrival, Deputies heard sounds coming from the garage area of the residence. When they attempted to enter, subjects were heard fleeing through a side window and running away from the scene.

Deputies located two juveniles a short distance away who matched the description of the individuals seen entering the property. Their clothing had brush on it that was consistent with the vegetation found around the residence.

The juveniles were subsequently released to a parent or guardian. They will be charged on a Maryland Juvenile Referral Form.
