Kent County Man Arrested for Murder Following Missing Person Investigation
Kent County, MD - The Kent County Sheriff's Office has arrested Raymond Ernest Anthony of Galena, Maryland, in connection with the murder of Nikole Lynn Snover.
In June 2025, the Kent County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division launched a missing person investigation after concerned citizens reported they had not seen Ms. Snover for an extended period. Detectives determined that the last confirmed sighting of her was in December 2024.
During the investigation, detectives learned that Raymond Anthony had moved into Ms. Snover's residence and was living with her prior to her disappearance. After she went missing, Anthony continued to live in her home, use her vehicles, and access her bank accounts.
On October 30, 2025, a Kent County Grand Jury indicted Raymond Anthony on multiple charges. These included first-degree murder, second-degree murder, theft scheme valued between $25,000 and $100,000, two counts of credit card theft, and two counts of credit card fraud valued between $25,000 and $100,000.
Following the indictment, Raymond Anthony was arrested by Kent County Sheriff's Office Patrol Deputies. He is currently being held at the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
The Kent County Sheriff's Office received assistance from multiple agencies during the investigation. These agencies included the Kent County State's Attorney's Office, Cecil County Sheriff's Office, Maryland State Police, Delaware State Police, Maryland Natural Resources Police, Maryland National Capital Park Police, Middletown Police Department (DE), and the Federal Bureau of Investigations-Baltimore.
