LAKE STREET TO CLOSE NOVEMBER 17-19 FOR STORMWATER WORK

Salisbury, MD - A section of Lake Street will be closed from Monday, November 17, to Wednesday, November 19, for stormwater system maintenance.

The closure will affect Lake Street from Route 50 to West Main Street. Work is scheduled to take place daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, the road will be closed to all vehicles except those that have been preapproved.

Crews will perform maintenance on the stormwater system and install a tide gate to help control flooding in the area. A detour route will be posted to direct drivers around the closure.

Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly to ensure the safety of the work crews.

The City stated it appreciates the public's patience as these improvements are made to enhance stormwater management and reduce flooding risks.
