SALISBURY, MD - A lane closure has been scheduled on Beaglin Park Drive for dam maintenance.

The City of Salisbury Department of Infrastructure and Development announced that a portion of Beaglin Park Drive, between North Park Drive and South Park Drive, will experience lane closures starting Monday, Dec. 8.

On Monday, Dec. 8, and Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the two southbound lanes of Beaglin Park Drive will be closed. This closure is necessary to allow for scheduled maintenance on the Beaglin Park Dam.

During this time, southbound traffic will be merged into a single lane and shifted into the northbound turn lane, which will be temporarily converted to a through lane. The left northbound lane will be modified to accommodate both left turns onto North Park Drive and straight-through traffic. The right northbound lane will not be affected.

The sidewalk on the dam will also be closed to pedestrians. Five flaggers will be present to direct traffic and ensure safety.

Drivers and pedestrians should expect minor delays and are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly. The City of Salisbury thanks the public for their patience while this important maintenance is completed.
