Implied Consent Law Reminder

Authorities emphasize Delaware's "implied consent" law, which states that by driving in Delaware, individuals automatically agree to a chemical test if suspected of DUI.

Refusal to comply may result in loss of license and driving privileges for a set period depending on prior offenses. Penalties range from one year for a first offense to two years for a third or subsequent offense, in addition to other charges arising from the DUI incident.
