Local Man Arrested for Driving Under the Influence After Traffic Stop

EASTON, MD - A Cordova, Maryland man was arrested on driving under the influence charges following a traffic stop in Easton on September 12, 2025.
Christopher Lee Sard, 25, was pulled over by an Easton Police Department officer at approximately 10:18 pm after his vehicle was observed traveling with an inoperative headlamp.
During the traffic stop, the officer noticed indicators suggesting Sard may have been under the influence of alcohol.
The officer administered Standardized Field Sobriety Tests to assess Sard's condition. Based on the results of these tests and the officer's observations, Sard was taken into custody on multiple traffic-related offenses, including driving under the influence of alcohol.
Sard was subsequently released after receiving his citations for the alleged violations.
