Talbot County, MD - A Cordova man was arrested by Talbot County Sheriff's Office deputies on October 2, 2025, for violating a protective order issued just one day earlier.

Jason Daniel Alexander, 45, received the protective order on October 1, 2025. The order required Alexander to stay away from a specific residence. However, Alexander violated those terms the following day.

Deputies placed Alexander under arrest and charged him with violation of a protective order. Alexander was then transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing.

He appeared before a District Court Commissioner for an initial hearing, where he was held without bond. On October 3, 2025, Alexander was provided a bond review in front of Judge Nathan Braverman. During the bond review, Judge Braverman changed the bond to $10,000 with 10% down.

Alexander posted the $1,000 bond and was released on October 3, 2025.
