Local Man Arrested on Bench Warrant, Found with Drug Paraphernalia

Caroline County, MD - Deputies from the Caroline County Sheriff's Office arrested Christopher McClyment on October 7, 2025, on an active bench warrant issued by the Caroline County District Court. The warrant was related to McClyment's failure to appear in court for a scheduled hearing.
During the arrest, law enforcement officers discovered that McClyment was in possession of multiple controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia items. The items were identified as equipment used for the consumption of methamphetamine.
Following his arrest, McClyment was brought before a District Court Commissioner for processing. The court set his bond at $1,000.00, and he was subsequently held at the Caroline County Detention Center pending further legal proceedings.
The case remains active within the Caroline County court system as McClyment addresses both the original charges that led to the bench warrant and the additional drug paraphernalia charges filed following his arrest.
