Local Man Arrested on Sex Offender Violation Charge

Talbot County, MD - Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested a 34-year-old Easton man on sex offender violation charges earlier this week.

Marquette Kevon Jenkins was taken into custody on October 11, 2025, following the issuance of an arrest warrant by the Talbot County District Court. The warrant, issued on October 8, 2025, charged Jenkins with a sex offender violation for entering restricted property.

Following his arrest, Jenkins was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. He appeared before a District Court Commissioner for an initial hearing.

Jenkins was initially held pending a bond review before being released on a $2,500 unsecured personal bond. The case remains under the jurisdiction of the Talbot County Sheriff's Office and the District Court system.
