LOCAL WOMAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE WARRANTS IN CAMBRIDGE

Cambridge, MD - Dorothy Thunderlighter Williams, a 32-year-old resident of Cambridge, MD, was arrested by the Cambridge Police Department on February 26, 2024, at 4:27 pm. Her arrest was for numerous active arrest warrants.

Williams was taken before a Dorchester County District Court Court Commissioner, which resulted in her subsequent transfer to the Dorchester County Department of Corrections, where she is presently being held on No Bond.

Williams' first warrant was a Dorchester County District Court Bench Warrant for a Violation of Probation. This court order was related to her original charges of second-degree Assault and Reckless Endangerment. For these charges, Williams is being held on No Bond.

A second warrant brought against Williams is a Dorchester County District Court Arrest Warrant. Williams is facing charges of second-degree Assault and Harassment. These charges emerged from an incident that took place at the Health Department on Cedar St., dating back to October 13, 2018. 

The victim in the case reported ongoing harassment and threats of assault from Williams. They alleged that the harassment escalated to physical assault when they were spit on by Williams. 

Following the incident, the victim sought charges against Williams with the Court Commissioner.
