Local Woman Arrested on Probation Violation and Weapon Charges

Talbot County, MD - Katherine Rose Adkins, a 29-year-old Easton resident, was arrested by Talbot County Sheriff's Office deputies on October 16, 2025. The arrest followed the issuance of a warrant by the District Court for Talbot County the previous day.

Adkins was charged with violation of probation stemming from an original possession of a controlled substance charge. Following her arrest, she was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and appeared before a District Court Commissioner for an initial hearing.

The defendant was initially held without bond due to the violation of probation bench warrant. She was subsequently released on a $5,000 unsecured personal bond for the probation violation.

Additional charges were also pending against Adkins at the time of her arrest. She faced multiple open arrest warrants for various handgun violations. For these weapon-related charges, Adkins was released on a separate $10,000 unsecured personal bond.

The case involves multiple legal matters that were processed simultaneously during her booking and court appearance.
