Easton, MD - On February 23, 2024, at approximately 1:43 PM, a major fire incident occurred at T and T Trucking, located in the 29000 block of Air Park Drive in Easton, Talbot County, Maryland. The incident in question was a fire that engulfed five Mack Conventional Day Cab Tractor Trailers - a devastating blow to the company.

With an estimated loss of $150,000, the impact of this fire has been significant. The Easton Volunteer Fire Department was the primary force responding to this incident, along with 75 firefighters.  

The fire department was able to get the fire under control in about one hour and twenty minutes. Despite the quick initial response, two alarms were required to handle the situation, indicating the severe magnitude of the fire.

The origin of the fire is believed to have been started on the interior of one of the Mack Tractor Trailers. The preliminary cause of the fire is still under investigation.
