Man Arrested After Repeatedly Calling Emergency Services
Queen Anne's County, MD - A man was arrested for telephone misuse after allegedly making numerous calls to emergency services on February 2, 2026. The incident began around 10:36 p.m. when dispatch advised Sgt. Davidson that the individual, identified as Jeremy Stack, was repeatedly contacting multiple agencies.
Stack reportedly called the 911 Center, Maryland State Police Centreville Barrack, Centreville Police Department, Queen Anne's County Office of the Sheriff, and the Queenstown Volunteer Fire Department.
Dispatch indicated that Stack was expressing displeasure regarding the outcome of a previous call for service.
Despite being instructed by 911 dispatch to cease calling, Stack allegedly continued and reportedly directed profanity at the dispatchers.
Sgt. Davidson contacted Stack by phone, warning him that continued calls to these agencies would result in charges for telephone misuse.
Approximately 45 minutes after the warning, dispatch reported that Stack had resumed calling. Over a two-hour period, a total of 25 calls were logged from Stack.
Deputies subsequently responded to Stack's residence and placed him under arrest. He has been charged with telephone misuse regarding repeated calls.
