Man Arrested in Connection with Easton Home Invasion

EASTON, MD - A Cambridge man has been arrested in connection with a home invasion that occurred in January, according to the Easton Police Department.


On October 14, 2025, officers identified and located a vehicle believed to be operated by Reginald E. Quailes, 35, who had an active arrest warrant. Officers found the vehicle at the Magnolia Meadows apartments and took Mr. Quailes into custody without incident.


The arrest warrant stems from a home invasion reported on January 17, 2025. At approximately 6:46 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Mulberry Hill Apartments.


The victim reported that upon opening their door after a knock, a man in a black ski mask tried to force his way inside. The man then struck the victim in the face with a bat pushed through the doorway.


Following an investigation, detectives identified Mr. Quailes as the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant.


The charges against Quailes include Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, Home Invasion, Burglary in the Third and Fourth Degrees, and Malicious Destruction of Property valued at less than $1,000.


Quailes was transported to the Talbot County Detention Center following his arrest.
