Man Arrested in Connection with September Stabbing

EASTON, MD - A Baltimore man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred in Easton last month. On Thursday, October 9, 2025, detectives from the Easton Police Department, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested 34-year-old Steffon L. Washington. He was served with an arrest warrant charging him with several offenses, including Attempted First and Second Degree Murder, First and Second Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Use of a Dangerous Weapon. The charges stem from an incident that took place on September 21, 2025. At approximately 1:38 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Dover Road for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found a male victim and immediately rendered aid until paramedics arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital before being transferred to Shock Trauma for treatment of stab wounds to his neck, chest, arm, and back. Investigators learned that the injuries resulted from an altercation that occurred in the area. Through their investigation, detectives identified Washington as the suspect. He was tracked to a residence in Ellicott City, MD, where he was located and taken into custody. Following his arrest, Washington was transported to the Talbot County Detention Center.
