Man Fatally Stabbed in Salisbury, Police Search for Suspect

SALISBURY, MD - Maryland State Police are asking for the public's help in an ongoing homicide investigation that occurred early Saturday morning in Salisbury, Maryland.


The victim has been identified as Kem'mon La'Austin Walker, 27, of Eden, Maryland. Walker was taken to TidalHealth Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.


The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. on Saturday, October 4. Officers from the Salisbury Police Department were called to the 200 block of E. Main Street for a report of a fight.


Upon arrival, they found Walker suffering from what appeared to be a stab wound.


Investigators are now searching for Carlus Dupree Gerald Jr., 35, of Salisbury, Maryland.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Gerald in connection with the stabbing. He is charged with second-degree murder and other related offenses.


The Maryland State Police Homicide Unit is leading the investigation. Anyone with information about the case or Gerald's location is asked to call the Maryland State Police at 443-298-9447. The investigation is active and ongoing.
