Greensboro, MD - On December 9, 2023, at approximately 1:00 AM, a Deputy from the Caroline County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 2500 block of N. Academy Avenue in Greensboro, Maryland for a report of a assault. 

Deputies arrived and met with the victim in the case, who informed Deputies that her boyfriend had struck her with his fist during an argument. 

Deputies placed the man, later identified as Cody Michael Casper of Greensboro, Maryland, under arrest and charged him with second degree assault and intoxicated endangerment. 

Casper was seen by the District Court of Maryland Commissioners on 12/9/2023 and was ordered to be held without bond. He had a bond review in front of Judge Joseph Riley, on December 11 2023 and again on December 12 2023, and noth times he was held without bond.
