Maryland State Police Investigating Fatal Crash in Queen Anne's County

Sudlersville, MD - The Maryland State Police are conducting an investigation into a fatal vehicle crash that occurred late Friday night in Queen Anne's County, Maryland.
The victim has been identified as Lisa Marie Arisman, 56, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Arisman was the front passenger in a 2022 Chevrolet Malibu involved in the incident. Emergency medical service personnel pronounced her deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet Malibu, identified as John Arisman, 58, also of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, sustained injuries and was transported to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for medical treatment.
The second vehicle involved in the collision was a 2020 Nissan Frontier, operated by Kyle Wayne Crossly of Sudlersville, Maryland. Crossly was transported to Christiana Care Christiana Hospital in Delaware for treatment of his injuries.
The crash occurred on July 25, 2025, at approximately 10:48 p.m. Troopers from the Maryland State Police Centreville Barrack responded to the crash site near the intersection of Sudlersville Road and Duhamel Corner Road in Sudlersville.
According to the preliminary investigation, the Nissan Frontier was traveling west on Sudlersville Road when it failed to properly navigate a slight curve. The vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane, colliding with the Chevrolet Malibu.
The Maryland State Police Crash Team is leading the ongoing investigation. Authorities are working closely with the State's Attorney's Office of Queen Anne's County, and charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
