MILFORD POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A SATURDAY CRASH AT DOLLAR TREE

Milford, DE - Milford Police are currently investigating a serious motor vehicle crash that occurred on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at around 3:25 p.m. A gold Hyundai Elantra was seen traveling northbound in the parking lot of Dollar Tree, located in the Cypress Hall Shopping Center off S. DuPont Blvd in Milford, Delaware.


For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle crashed into the front of the store and continued into the store.


The impact was severe, striking a 97-year-old female patron inside the store, who was subsequently airlifted to a nearby hospital. Her condition has been reported as stable but critical.


The 44-year-old female driver of the Hyundai Elantra was also taken to the hospital for medical treatment.


A 76-year-old female patron, who was inside the store, sustained injuries from falling debris caused by the collision. She received treatment and has since been released from the hospital.


The Milford Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Authorities are seeking the public's assistance in gathering more information about the incident.
