Milford Police Investigate Homicide in Windward Grove Development

Milford, DE - The Milford Police Department is currently conducting a homicide investigation following a fatal shooting that occurred at a residence in the 7500 block of Wickersham Lane within the Windward Grove Development in Milford, Sussex County, Delaware.

According to authorities, on July 10, 2025, at approximately 10:21 p.m., officers responded to the location after receiving a report of a shooting incident. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 32-year-old male victim inside the residence, suffering from a single gunshot wound.

Witnesses at the scene had already initiated CPR in an attempt to save his life. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived shortly thereafter and continued life-saving measures, but the victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

At this time, the victim's identity is being withheld pending family notification.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the shooting resulted from an argument between the victim and the suspect.
