Millsboro Police Arrest Suspect in Sexual Assault Case

Millsboro, DE - The Millsboro Police Department is investigating a sexual assault that occurred in the 300 block of Old Landing Road in Millsboro, Delaware during the early morning hours of March 25, 2026.

Officers responded to the location at approximately midnight. Contact was made with the victim upon arrival. 

The victim reported that the assault occurred just prior to the police response. The scene was quickly secured by officers. Critical evidence was collected at the location.

Anthony Wade, 63, was identified as the suspect as a result of the investigation. Wade was on probation at the time of the incident. 

He was taken into custody and charged with Rape in the Second Degree. Wade was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution. His secured bail was set at $60,000.

The Millsboro Police Department acknowledged the quick response of the officers and the victim's prompt reporting of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
