MILTON MAN ARRESTED FOR AGGRAVATED MENACING AND FIREARM CHARGES

Milton, Delaware - A 45-year-old resident of Milton, Chad Tylecki, was arrested earlier this week by the Delaware State Police on charges of aggravated menacing and firearm-related offenses following a reported disorderly incident.


On June 16, 2025, at approximately 7:36 a.m., state troopers were dispatched to Lawns Unlimited, located at 15089 Coastal Highway in Milton, Delaware, in response to a complaint about a disorderly individual. Upon arrival, the officers learned that Tylecki, who lives nearby, had allegedly confronted an employee of Lawns Unlimited. During this confrontation, Tylecki reportedly shouted at the employee and displayed a firearm from his waistband by opening his jacket.


Law enforcement officers later went to Tylecki's residence, where they arrested him without further incident. A search of Tylecki's person revealed a loaded handgun in his waistband.


Further investigation showed that Tylecki is prohibited by Delaware law from possessing firearms or ammunition. Following his arrest, he was taken to Troop 7 and charged with the following offenses:


  • Aggravated Menacing (Felony)  
  • Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (Felony) - 2 counts  
  • Disorderly Conduct


Tylecki was subsequently arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2 and remanded to Sussex Correctional Institution on a cash bond of $46,100.
