Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Deer Collision on Carter Road

Queen Anne's County, MD - Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a motorcycle crash on Carter Road on September 30, 2025.


The incident occurred after a 911 caller reported "crash" before disconnecting the call.


Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and discovered the motorcyclist down in the roadway. The investigation determined that the operator had struck a deer while traveling on the motorcycle.


The driver sustained serious injuries in the collision and was transported by Maryland State Police Aviation Command trooper 4 to Shock Trauma for medical treatment. The deer involved in the crash did not survive the impact.
