MYKII SELLERS CHARGED WITH DRUG AND FIREARMS OFFENSES

Salisbury, MD - The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office Community Action Team (CAT) has charged and arrested Mykii Sellers following an investigation into his involvement in possessing firearms while prohibited and drug offenses.On July 8, 2023, members of the Salisbury Police Tactical Team served a search warrant on Sellers' residence located in the 600 block of Truitt Street, Salisbury, MD. A search of the residence by members of CAT, the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division, and the Maryland State Police revealed marijuana indicative of distribution.Through investigation, it was determined that Sellers was utilizing the vacant residence next door to store contraband.An additional search warrant was authored by CAT for the vacant residence next door that resulted in the recovery of a loaded 9mm handgun, an additional loaded extended magazine, over 6 pounds of marijuana, and approximately $65,000 in US currency. Sellers were arrested and charged with firearm and CDS-related offenses. Sellers admitted to possessing the handgun that was located in the vacant property next door.Sellers was transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.This investigation was a direct result of the July 5, 2023 homicide investigation that is being conducted.
