NOW ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR 2023 OUTSTANDING PUBLIC HEALTH LEADER AWARD
Salisbury, MD - The theme of National Public Health Week 2024 is "Protecting, Connecting and Thriving: We Are All Public Health." The Wicomico County Health Department, along with our partners, will highlight and recognize the way our communities and their diverse cultures have demonstrated resilience and continue to influence our hard work to make Wicomico County healthier for all.
In celebration of National Public Health Week, April 1st - 7th, the Wicomico County Health Department will also recognize one special individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the public health and safety of the citizens of Wicomico County. This award is presented in celebration of National Public Health Week. The winner will be announced at the Outstanding Public Health Leader of the Year Awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. in the Flanders Room of the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center.
Nomination criteria can be viewed, and the nomination form can be submitted online at www.wicomicohealth.org, or via this link: https://forms.gle/Wvx9RvsF9ANFDHWi8. Nominations are due by Monday, March 11th, 2024. Late submissions cannot be accepted.
