Ocean City Announces Temporary Closure of Comfort Stations for Renovations
OCEAN CITY, MD - The Town of Ocean City has announced the temporary closure of the Worcester Street and Caroline Street Comfort Stations.
These closures are required to facilitate planned renovations. The project is designed to improve facility functionality and visitor amenities.
The renovations will occur during the winter and early spring months. The Worcester Street Comfort Station will be closed from December 30, 2025, through April 17, 2026. The Caroline Street Comfort Station will close on January 5, 2026, and remain closed through April 17, 2026.
Both facilities are scheduled to reopen to the public on April 18, 2026.
Alternative facilities will remain available during this period. The comfort stations located at 9th Street and 27th Street will stay open for public use.
The Town of Ocean City acknowledges the cooperation of residents and visitors as these necessary upgrades are completed.
