Ocean City Beautification Committee Announces Special Pricing on Memorial Leaves

OCEAN CITY, MD - The Ocean City Beautification Committee is offering a limited-time opportunity for residents to honor loved ones through their Reflections of Life Tree sculpture. The committee maintains this memorial display in the lobby of the Roland E. Powell Convention Center, located at 40th Street bayside.
Community members can purchase commemorative gold leaves for the sculpture at a reduced rate through November 1, 2025. The leaves are now available for $250, representing a 50 percent discount from the standard $500 price.
Each leaf serves as a lasting tribute and qualifies as a tax-deductible donation. The leaves can honor individuals, commemorate special occasions, or celebrate significant events and people in the community.
The committee has discontinued the availability of silver and bronze leaves, as well as stepping stones, making the gold leaves the sole option for new memorial contributions.
Revenue generated through the Reflections of Life program supports various beautification initiatives throughout Ocean City. Past projects funded by the program include spring bulb installations in planters at City Hall, the Convention Center, and Entry Park.
Additional projects encompass the garden at the base of the Route 50 bridge, the custom water feature at the Convention Center entrance, the memory garden on the bayside of the Convention Center, and the illuminated trees at City Hall.
Future funds will continue to support landscaping and beautification projects across the community. Interested individuals can access donation forms through the Town of Ocean City's official website at www.oceancitymd.gov/oc/city-hall/mayor-and-city-council/beautification-committee.
