Ocean City, MD - The Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) has started its annual Holiday Toy Drive to collect gifts for local families. The toy donations will benefit Worcester County GOLD, a non-profit organization that supports families in the community. This marks the tenth consecutive year the OCPD has partnered with the organization.

All collected toys will be given to families through Worcester County GOLD's "Helping Hands for the Holidays" program. This program provides holiday gifts to over 500 individuals in Worcester County each year.

New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the Public Safety Building at 6501 Coastal Highway. Worcester County GOLD requests that donated toys are valued at $40 or less.

The organization also asks that donations do not include items like jewelry, bicycles, electronics, video games, or toy weapons. While toys are welcome, there is also a need for gifts for teenagers, such as clothing, shoes, headphones, or room décor.

Monetary donations can be sent directly to Worcester County GOLD. Checks should be mailed to P.O. Box 335, Snow Hill, MD 21863, with "HHH" noted on the memo line. Online donations are also accepted at www.worcestergold.org/helping-hands-holidays.

Holiday event organizers who wish to partner with the toy drive can contact Deputy Communications Manager Ashley Miller at 410-520-5395. These partnerships help ensure more local families can be supported during the holidays.

The final day for toy donations at the Ocean City Police Department is Wednesday, December 10, 2025. This deadline allows Worcester County GOLD enough time to distribute the gifts to families before the holidays.
