OCEAN CITY POLICE MOUNTED UNIT TRUCK AND HORSE TRAILER VANDALIZED ON SATURDAY NIGHT
Ocean City, MD-The Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) is seeking the public's assistance in a case of malicious destruction of property. The OCPD-mounted unit truck and horse trailer were severely vandalized.
The incident, which took place on Saturday, May 18, 2024, involved the damage to the OCPD's vehicle, which was discovered "keyed" and with all its tires slashed. The unit was parked behind the shopping center on 118th Street between 5 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. when the crime occurred.
The vandalism of this property is an attack not just on the OCPD but also on the community that they strive to protect and serve.
