Salisbury, MD - As the City of Salisbury Parking Authority prepares to resume parking enforcement, residents, employees, and businesses in the area are encouraged to be aware of the upcoming changes.
Parking enforcement will be reinstated across all city-owned lots, streets, and facilities, so it's important for individuals and organizations to ensure their parking information is current.
Starting May 12, 2025, there will be a grace period until June 1, 2025. During this time, instead of issuing citations, warnings will be given to educate the public about expected parking practices when regular enforcement begins.
These warnings, clearly marked with "THIS IS A WARNING," will serve as reminders to help individuals avoid future violations. This is a good opportunity for the community to review their parking habits and make any necessary adjustments.
Beginning June 2, 2025, all parking regulations will be strictly enforced. The City of Salisbury Parking Authority emphasizes the importance of having up-to-date fleet and permit information by this date. Compliance with permit requirements, adherence to pay-to-park protocols, and observance of time restrictions will be essential to avoid penalties.
For any questions or to update permit information, the Salisbury Parking Authority offers assistance via phone at 410-548-3195.
